Our project: origins and objectives

Valdadige360 was created by the Nuova Cooperativa Rivalta’s members with the aim of giving a new perspective and a future development to their society after the conclusion of the previous activity. The cooperative society begins its activity in Valdadige from Rivalta, in 1984, as a
paper mill, with the company name CCR Cartiera Cooperativa Rivalta. This activity continued until 2016, the year in which it was handed over to a paper firm that has been running it to this day. Over its thirty years of activity, the cooperative’s objectives have always been those of safeguarding the members’ work and respecting the territory, while always complying with the economic and industrial rules of the field.
With the conclusion of the paper mill activity, the members decided to keep the cooperative running by giving it a new perspective, a new purpose. Respect, appreciation, development and promotion of Valdadige: these are the Valdadige360 project’s objectives, which are being developed in collaboration with local administrations, firms and societies of the area, and involving the new members, who, in the future, will carry on with new activities. This way, the effort and the work of all the founding members of the CCR Cartiera Cooperativa Rivalta are recognized and celebrated: it is thanks to them that, today, a project like Valdadige360 is possible and, as founding members, they deserve gratitude and admiration.
